ABOUT SPOKEN VISUALS

WEAR IT LOUD

History and Mission

Founded in Early 2007 as the brainchild of Kevin Warner, Spoken Visuals is a California based Christian geek apparel and personal identity company. Specializing in custom designs for geeks who love technology and god since it's inception, the company has recently begun to branch out into christian artistic t-shirts, and has the vision of becoming the place for christian apparel for people in every walk of life.

Kevin looked around one day and saw what had happened to the world. We had become a culture of sameness. Clothing had become a self-perpetuating cycle of brand name promotion. Somewhere along the way, the idea that what you wear should express something about you had been lost. Replacing it was a corporate identity that threatened individual expression. It was in this moment that the idea for Spoken Visuals was born. It started small, much like the garage industries of the digital revolution, but has grown to a collective of individuals who share a vision for apparel. Spoken Visuals seeks to let you express yourself through what you wear. We believe the messages on a t-shirt should reflect you and how you think and feel. It should reflect them boldly and out loud. Thus Spoken Visuals.

Founder Bio

Kevin Warner's interest in technology began in a young age. He is both a christian and a geek himself. He built his first computer when he was 13, but it wasn't until he realized the potential for digital graphics that his interest developed to include his career. After starting his own Web-Design company at 17 and graduating from Avalon High School as Valedictorian in 2005, Kevin elected to Long Beach State on a full ride scholarship to study Graphic Design. Always quick to make light of things Kevin says "I've always enjoyed wearing clothes, and I've noticed other people seem to as well.". "Spoken Visuals is a dream come true for me, I've always wanted to do something that had the potential to be bigger than myself, and letting people find individual expression fulfills that desire."
